Our Client’s transformation journey
With expert support from Sharing in Growth (SiG), a Sheffield-based manufacturing company underwent a full-scale cultural and operational transformation to establish itself as a strategic supplier in the aerospace sector. Facing internal inefficiencies, unclear direction, and the added disruption of the pandemic, the company partnered with SiG in 2021 to drive change.
Through embedded coaching, strategic planning, and the introduction of operational ‘lighthouses’, the company built high-performing teams, improved inventory management, and embedded a data-driven, proactive culture. Leadership development was strengthened through a tailored Team Leader Academy, boosting engagement and capability across the workforce.
The transformation delivered impressive results: turnover rose from £15.6M to £27.4M, profit soared by 7700%, and forward orders jumped from £5.4M to £19.1M. Aerospace revenue nearly tripled, machining capacity grew, and right-first-time rates hit 99%. The company now operates with clarity, confidence, and a strong foundation for future growth.
Looking ahead to the award’s ceremony
The next stage of the MCA Awards journey involves a finalist interview taking place in June, where we will showcase the story behind this transformation and the value delivered. Winners will be announced during the MCA Awards Ceremony at Grosvenor House, London on 10th November 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to share our journey on this platform.
