Sharing in Growth celebrates success at the MCA Awards 2026

Two Highly Commended awards, a Rising Star finalist and measurable improvements for UK manufacturers made for a proud evening at the MCA Awards 2026.

Sharing in Growth (SiG) is celebrating success at the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards 2026, having received Highly Commended recognition in two categories and Lara Shorthose named as a finalist in the Rising Star category.

The awards recognise the work of consultancies and their clients across the UK, celebrating programmes that improve business performance and deliver measurable results.

For SiG, the evening provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements of AML Sheffield and Sylatech Limited, alongside the people who work with manufacturers to improve productivity, develop capability and support long-term growth.

Lara Shorthose

Lara Shorthose named Rising Star finalist

SiG also had reason to celebrate with Lara Shorthose named a finalist in the Rising Star category.

Since joining SiG in January 2024, Lara has supported client businesses as they develop their people, improve operational performance and introduce new ways of working.

Her nomination recognises her contribution to the consulting profession and the work she does alongside manufacturing teams to put improvement plans into practice.

Developing people is an important part of SiG’s approach. Lasting improvements depend on the knowledge, commitment and involvement of the teams responsible for delivering them. Recognising the contribution of emerging talent reinforces the value of investing in the people who support this work.

Congratulations to Lara on reaching the finalist stage.

Celebrating the people behind the results

The MCA Awards provide an opportunity to recognise the work carried out by consultancies and their clients. For SiG, receiving Highly Commended recognition in two categories is a welcome acknowledgement of the progress made through these partnerships.

Following SiG’s success in winning the Change & Transformation in the Private Sector category at the 2025 awards, this year’s results provide further recognition of the work taking place across our client community. The achievements of AML Sheffield and Sylatech reflect the commitment of their teams to improving how their businesses operate. They also demonstrate the value of working closely with people at every level of an organisation to develop practical solutions that deliver measurable improvements.

Thank you to everyone across AML Sheffield, Sylatech and SiG who contributed to these programmes, and congratulations to all those recognised at this year’s awards. We look forward to continuing our work with UK manufacturers, helping them improve performance, strengthen their capabilities and build businesses ready for future growth.
